Student 政府 is made up of three branches of 政府 in addition to the class officers. Student 政府 代表 and serves as the voice of all 全职 本科 学生.

The 执行 branch includes the student body 总统, student body vice 总统, student body 财务主管 and 助理 student body 财务主管. The student body 总统 and vice 总统 serve as liaisons between the student body and the 大学 政府. Judicial Branch

Class Officers

The junior class officers plan and organize the campus 订婚 机会 庆祝 the annual April Reign 传统. The junior class officers also serve as Student Giving 大使 for the annual BW Gives event. The 二年级学生 class officers plan several events 庆祝 同学会. Such events might include the 选择 of Jacket royalty, a pep rally and a parade. AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY

IOTA TAU ALPHA - 运动 培训 教育 HONOR SOCIETY

Regular members shall be 学生 enrolled in the CAATE-accredited athletic 培训 program at BW. They must have 完成 at least three 学期 of 学术 work toward an athletic 培训 degree; have 完成 a minimum of 100 clinical 观察 hours; have a minimum 累积 grade point average of 3.5; and be in good 站 根据 to their program 保留 criteria.

KAPPA DELTA PI - 国际 教育 HONOR SOCIETY

KAPPA MU EPSILON - 国家 数学 HONOR SOCIETY

Three 学期 of college must be 完成; three courses in 数学 包括 at least one in 微积分; 3.0 GPA in 数学 and rank in the top 35% of the class.

ORDER OF OMEGA - 国家 异卵 HONOR SOCIETY

PSI CHI - 国际 HONOR SOCIETY FOR 心理学

SIGMA IOTA RHO - HONOR SOCIETY FOR 国际 STUDIES

Members must have attained a 累积 grade point average of 3.3 or higher in all 课程, and a grade point average of at least 3.4 in 国际 studies courses.

SIGMA TAU DELTA - 国际 ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY

Members must have 完成 at least two 大学 courses in English 语言 or 文学, beyond the usual 需求 of freshman English; must have a minimum of a B, or 等效 average, in English and in general 奖学金; must rank at least in the top 35% of class; and must have 完成 at least three 学期 of college course work.

UPSILON PI EPSILON - 国际 HONOR SOCIETY FOR 计算 SCIENCES

Members must have 完成 at least 64 学期 hours of 本科 credit, have a GPA of at least 3.5 in computer science or computer 信息 system 课程, and must rank in the upper third of all 学生 in the computer science or computer 信息 systems program.

Baldwin Wallace 电视 Station (BW TV)

Open to all 学生, The 指数 works to keep BW up to date with campus, local, state, 国家 and 国际 news and 事件 through a 每两周 printed 报纸 and The 指数 website. Follow The 指数 on Twitter.

WBWC 88.3 FM

WBWC first signed on in 1958 and 目前 广播 at 4,000 watts to the 克利夫兰 and Lorain County areas. It was the first 学生 radio station in the U.S. and the first college radio station to perform a remote 广播 from the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. As a 非商业性, 教育 radio 站, WBWC 提供了 public service and daily 专业 编程 for student and 社区 听众 of all ages, 利益 and musical tastes. Listen online.

ARCHERY CLUB

Archery Club 促进 the sport of archery, good safety 实践, 环境 and 政治 意识, 教育 and 休闲 的机会, and 慈善 欧博allbet.

CLUB SAILING TEAM

CYCLING CLUB

壁球

The BW 壁球 Team is 被认为是 one of the best programs in the country. 壁球 is an Olympic sport, and BW's team competes in Division I and Division II. The men's and women's teams have won 26 国家 锦标赛 and over 50 regional and state 锦标赛 in 30 years. Seven former 学生 play in the men's and women's 专业 国际 壁球 Tour, and five former 学生 have played for the United States' team. The team has won four Division I National 锦标赛.

RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

The Men's and Women's Rugby Football Clubs foster 学生的 mental and physical growth through the game of Rugby. Members become a part of the rugby family and learn values of 兄弟/姐妹 团队合作, 竞争 and 体育精神.

RUNNING CLUB

The mission of Running Club (BW Runs) is to attract and 鼓励 runners of all 能力 to join 在一起 and run. The club 提供了 a safe, fun way to exercise around campus and its 周围 areas.

ACTIVE MINDS

Active Minds strives to increase 学生的 意识 of mental health issues and symptoms of mental illness, serving as a liaison between 学生 and mental health 组织 in 周围 社区, and 提供 教育 资源 and 培训 to 学生. The group aims to reduce the stigma that 围绕 mental illness and create an open 环境 for the 讨论 of mental health issues.

BEST BUDDIES BALDWIN WALLACE

The mission of Best Buddies is to 建立 a global 志愿者 movement that creates 机会 for 一对一的 友谊, 集成 就业 and 领导 发展 for people with 知识 and 发展 残疾的人. Best Buddies matches student 志愿者 in mutually 丰富 友谊 with persons with 知识 and 发展 残疾的人.

CAR CLUB

Car Club 教育 members on current auto industry trends, 提供 现实生活中的 机会 for 学生 to practice 汽车 机械 skills, and holding 讨论 on the past, present and future auto world.

CIRCLE K 国际

Circle K, the world's largest 完全 学生 大学 service 组织, follows the three tenets of service, 领导 and 奖学金 and 提供了 members with a number of weekly and non-weekly service 机会 and social events.

COLLEGE 民主党人

College 民主党人 are 承诺 to the 赞助 and 促销活动 of events to enhance 政府 参与 on campus. They 参与 in various party programs as well as events for the entire student body.

COLLEGE 共和党人

College 共和党人 promote 保守的 views and 鼓励 学生 to take an 感兴趣 in 政治 through 会议; guest 扬声器; trips; campus 政治; and 参与 in 社区, state, and 国家 活动 and 选举.

DANCE MARATHON

Dance Marathon brings 在一起 学生, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and 社区 members for twelve powerful hours 庆祝 the talented members of our 社区 and raising 意识 about 儿科 AIDS. The event supports the 伊丽莎白 Glaser 儿科 AIDS 基金会.

The mission of 授权 is to unite women of all 背景, races, 宗教, sexual 方向, and 构建, and their allies, to enact positive change in our 社区 through women 授权, 意识 and 庆祝活动.

FILM SOCIETY

GIRL UP

STUDENT TENDED NATURAL GARDEN (STNG)

STNG 教育 BW, and the 周围 社区, on the 重要性 of 堆肥, 可持续发展的 计划, and local food by 维护 a healthy 社区 garden and ensuring its presence be known on campus and in the Berea area.

STUDENT VETERAN 组织 (BW SVO)
