Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

  • Eligibility based on exceptional financial need, priority given to 0 EFC Pell eligible students.

Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG)

The Ohio Department of Higher Education administers the OCOG program, which provides grant money to Ohio residents who demonstrate the highest levels of financial need as determined by the results of the FAFSA. Additional information from the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

Baldwin Wallace Grant (BW Grant)

  • Undergraduate, full time, degree-seeking (no prior degree).
  • Eligibility based on financial need 和 minimum gift assistance commitment for BW.
  • Awarded during the fall/spring semesters of the academic year.

The objectives of the 第二次机会补助金 Program are to reduce financial barriers preventing Ohioans with some college credit but no bachelor's degree from returning to higher education 和 to increase the number of Ohioans with a degree or credential. The 第二次机会补助金 Program will provide up to $3 million in financial assistance in the form of $2,000 grants to eligible students re-enrolling at a qualifying institution such as Baldwin Wallace in order to obtain a degree or credential. Students who withdrew from an Ohio public university (main campus or branch campus) or community college are eligible for the 第二次机会补助金 if they meet the following criteria:

  • 你 are a current resident of the state of Ohio.
  • 你r last date of attendance was between one 和 five years ago.
  • 你 have not yet earned a bachelor's degree from ANY college or university.
  • 你 were in good academic st和ing with no disciplinary issues when you withdrew.
  • 你完成了 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) 和 accept any need-based state or federal grants to which you are entitled.
  • 你 are not a recipient of any of the following Ohio scholarships: Choose Ohio First, Ohio Safety Officers College Memorial Fund, War Orphans 和 Severely Disabled Veteran's Scholarship Program, Ohio National Guard Scholarship.

Teacher Education Assistance for College 和 Higher Education (TEACH) Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College 和 Higher Education (TEACH) Grant program provides grants to students who intend to teach in a high-need area in a public or private elementary school that serves students from low-income families. The award can be as much as $4,000* per year ($2,000 per semester) to full-time students.

教授予 recipients must complete their Agreement To Serve (ATS) 和 教授予 Counseling annually. The ATS is an agreement to teach for at least four full years within eight years of finishing their teacher preparation program, 和 to teach high-need subjects in designated schools that serve low-income students.

Failure to complete the service agreement or changing majors to an ineligible degree program will cause the 教授予 to be permanently converted to an unsubsidized Federal Direct Loan with interest accruing from the date the 教授予 was first disbursed.

BW students who believe they meet the eligibility requirements should complete the TEACH grant request form on the 经济援助表格页面.
